“Banker of the Year” 2017 Award, Won by Francois Bloch and Didier Colin

“Piata Financiara” magazine organized, on December 12, the 22nd edition of the “Piata Financiara” Awards Gala, an event in which notable achievements in the financial and economic sectors receive distinctions.

One of the most important prizes – the "Banker of the Year" - rewarded the work of two bankers from BRD: the CEO Francois Bloch and Didier Colin, former Deputy CEO of BRD, Risk Pole Coordinator, currently a Member of the Board and Senior Director, responsible for risk management with Komercni Banka, Société Générale’s Czech subsidiary.

According to the argument of the editorial board, "the bank has undergone an extensive process of risk re-consolidation and re-treatment, under the coordination of an exceptional risk manager. The results are seen today in both profitability indicators and in those that reflect the quality of credit portfolios. "

It is for the first time in 22 years of history of the event that the "Banker of the Year" award has two winners.
