Acces Lounge

Access with your BRD Mastercard Platinum card

You have unlimited free admission per year to the Business Lounges mentioned below, simply by presenting your bank card, provided you have made at least one POS or e-commerce transaction settled in the last 30 days, but no later than 4 days before entering the lounge. Both transaction date and settlement date must be within the 30-day window above, but no later than 4 days prior to lounge access.

In addition you have 8 entries per year at each airport for your guests at no cost(1 entry = 1 guest).

Henri Coandă International Airport, Bucharest-Otopeni

- Dacia Business Lounge (formerly called "Tarom Business Lounge") - located in the International Departures Terminal on the 2nd floor, above gate 3
- Satelit Business Lounge - located in the International Departures Terminal on the 2nd floor, above gate 9

Vienna International Airport

- Vienna Lounge - located in Terminal 2, immediately after security, on the 2nd floor
- Sky Lounge - located in Terminal 3, immediately after security, on the 2nd floor

Avram Iancu International Airport Cluj-Napoca

- Domestic Business Lounge - located in the Internal Departures Terminal, opposite gates A2 and A3
- International Business Lounge - located in the International Departures Terminal, opposite gates B1 and B2

The Business Lounges from Avram Iancu Cluj Napoca International Airport are temporarily closed due to works expansion, the completion period being February 2024.

Traian Vuia Timisoara International Airport

- Domestic Business Lounge - located in the Departure Terminal, domestic flights, on the 1st floor
- International Business Lounge - located in the Departure Terminal, international flights, 1st floor

Sibiu International Airport

- Business Lounge - located in the Departure Terminal (immediately after security control and border crossing point)

In addition you have 8 entries per year in each airport for your guests, free of charge.

Access is allowed only for valid cards (the card is not blocked, lost or stolen and can be used for payment transactions).

Access with Priority Pass

The Priority Pass also gives you access to over 1400 airport lounges worldwide. Each year you get 4 free admissions, and after you have used them up each admission costs USD 35.

Which operations can you perform with the Platinum card?

- Maximum limit is 115.000 lei;

- Payments to merchants, including online payments and contactless payments;

- Cash withdrawal;

- Invoice payments;

- Check the account balance;

- Change PIN;

- List of the last 10 operations;

- SIM top-up (Orange, Vodafone, or Telekom).

Safety

For Platinum credit card, the travel insurance is included and free of charge. The insurance is becoming active in the moment of your first financial transaction performed and it will remain active if every 12 months you perform at least one transaction. The insurance is available all over the world, excepting Romania, the country of citizenship and the country of residence of the insured. Moreover, the family members also benefit of the same covered risks.

What does this insurance cover?

- Medical assistance and expanses, up to a limit of 100.000 EUR/year (including seasonal sports)

- Luggage protection ( theft, total/partial damage, loss, damage), up to a limit of 500 EUR/event

- Delayed/cancelled flight, up to a limit of 500 EUR/event

- Storno for cancelled/interrupted/modified trip, up to a limit of 5.000 EUR/event

- Road assistance for the continuation of the trip, in case you encounter a problem with the car
