Launched in 2013, MyBRD Mobile has reached 160,000 customers and is in the top of the 3 most downloaded financial apps in Appstore, Google Play and Windows Store, with over 195,000 downloads.

According to bank statistics, the operations most frequently ordered by MyBRD Mobile users are internal payments (between own accounts) and utility invoice payments. An active user logs on the app, on average, 16 times per month, the monthly average of transactions being 4 per customer and the usage rate, of 35%. Those who log on most frequently are iOS users, followed by Windows Phone and Android users.

MyBRD Mobile offers a unique transfer service on the Romanian banking market – the transfer to a mobile phone number. The beneficiary of the payment can cash the money immediately, from any BRD branch, even without having a bank account. In addition, customers can use other innovative functionalities as the payment through bar code scan and QR code transfers to other MyBRD Mobile users.

During the first 7 months of 2015, users have generated more than 430,000 in-app transactions, up 20% vs 2014; the value of transactions was, during the same interval, 60% up vs 2014.
