Use the Electronic Signature for sending correspondence with legal value

The electronic signature is obtained by using a digital certificate that ensures the “virtual identity" of its holder and allows unequivocal identification of the signatory.

The service works by using a signature application provided by certSIGN, a partner of BRD.

The application can be installed on the user’s PC; it is secured and easy to use.

Is the use of the digital certificate for electronic signature legally binding?

A digital certificate is a virtual “identity card” allowing the creation of a legally binding electronic signature by which the user is identified in the electronic environment.

What is the validity period of a digital certificate?

The digital certificate is valid for 1 year, and renewing it costs less than its purchase.
