Dividends

A dividend is the portion of the profit that the company pays out to its shareholders. The amount to be paid is proposed by the Board of Directors and approved by the shareholders' meeting. The dividends are allocated to the Bank’s shareholders proportionally to their quota in the share capital.

The dividends will be paid on the date approved by the General Shareholders Meeting.

In order to have the right to receive dividends, one person must be identify as BRD’s shareholder in the Shareholders’ Register held by the Central Depository on the registration date established by the General Shareholders Meeting.

Pursuant to the laws in force, beneficiaries who do not claim their due dividends shall loose the right to do so 3 years after the date of issue of such dividends. The dividend related income is subject to withholding tax.
