03 Aug 2026

  • Anytime RCA insurance can now be purchased directly through the YOU BRD app.

  • The partnership brings motor insurance closer to customers through a simple, fast and intuitive digital experience that can be completed in just a few clicks

  • BRD's decision to select Anytime as its insurance partner reflects its confidence in a digital model backed by Interamerican's insurance expertise and the strength of the Achmea Group.

Bucharest, August 3 – Anytime Romania and BRD Groupe Société Générale are simplifying access to motor insurance by integrating Anytime MTPL insurance into the YOU BRD mobile app. The bank's customers can now purchase their insurance directly within the app through a fully digital process, benefiting from one of the fastest MTPL policy issuance journeys available in Romania.

The partnership reflects the shared commitment of both organizations to making financial and insurance services more accessible by integrating them into a simple and intuitive digital experience. It combines the expertise of one of Romania's leading financial institutions with Interamerican's insurance expertise through its digital insurance brand, Anytime, part of the Achmea Group, one of Europe's largest financial services groups.

By integrating Anytime into the YOU BRD app, customers can receive a quote and purchase an MTPL policy without leaving the application, completing the entire journey online in just a few steps, without the need to access additional platforms or visit a branch.

"Motor insurance is a product every driver needs, and purchasing it should be as simple as using the digital applications that people rely on every day. Our partnership with BRD demonstrates how collaboration between a bank and a digital insurance brand can simplify access to insurance and better meet customers' evolving expectations. The success of this collaboration is built on a shared vision, mutual trust and a common focus on delivering the best possible experience for our customers”,said Yiannis Kantoros,  CEO Interamerican Group.

At BRD, we strive to provide our customers with a banking experience that is as simple, intuitive, and relevant to their everyday needs as possible. The integration of the possibility to purchase Motor Third-Party Liability Insurance (MTPL) directly through the YOU BRD app marks another step forward in expanding the ecosystem of digital services available to our customers. This new functionality enables them to quickly address one of the essential needs of vehicle owners within a familiar, secure, and user-friendly environment. We are thus continuing to develop YOU BRD as a digital platform that brings together relevant financial and non-financial services, tailored to our customers’ lifestyles,” said Mădălina Teodorescu, Deputy CEO and Head of Retail Banking Activities at BRD Groupe Société Générale.
