BRD LAUNCHES RECYCLED PLASTIC CARDS, CONTINUING ITS TRADITION OF INNOVATION IN PAYMENT INSTRUMENTS

Starting in May this year, BRD Groupe Société Générale has gradually begun producing bank cards made from recycled plastic—whether debit or credit cards, for individuals or companies. This initiative is part of BRD’s commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.

From now on, any newly issued, renewed, or replaced card will be made exclusively from recycled plastic. In addition, debit cards for individuals feature a new, modern, elegant, and refined design, aimed at enhancing the visual and tactile experience for customers.

We want to offer our customers not only high-performing banking products but also solutions that reflect our shared values around environmental protection.
