Security

The safety of your accounts is our constant preoccupation, this is why the service is using an 128 bits encryption, one of the most advanced technologies available for securing online transactions. The encryption is a process that transforms the confidential information in an unreadable line of characters, before it is sent via internet, ensuring in the same time a safe confidential data transmission channel between the bank's system and your internet browser.

SAFE INTERNET BROWSING

To safely navigate the Internet, and especially on web-sites involving financial transactions, you can resort to some means of protection:

Also, check if the page you're browsing is safe (use https: // - you can see this in your browser's address bar) and especially do not use the "Remember my password" option, especially for financial / banking applications.

Protect your data by using complex passwords (both on your phone and on your PC / Laptop / Apps). Also, do not use the same password for all apps or accounts on social networks. Do not forget to use the logoff button every time you leave online applications, especially banking applications.

Try to avoid using public or "free" networks, especially when using banking / financial applications. Do not leave your laptop unattended, and if you ever find yourself in the situation where you have to leave your laptop unattended, make sure it is password protected.

What is Phishing?

Phishing is a fraud attempt by which offenders request personal data and personal banking data (username, Token device / eToken, etc.) and beyond.

The most frequently used channel for a phishing attack is e-mail. The e-mail you receive usually urges you to "update" or "confirm" the data of your Internet banking account or card by accessing an email link. This link takes you to a site very similar to the one you expect (a clone site) through which data is collected. The attacker get’s in possession of your e-mail address through various channels, of which most commonly used are: viruses, buying e-mail databases from specialized firms, or even hacking the IT systems of vendors e-mail services.

We encourage you to remain vigilant and never disclose personal information and bank personal data, even if the request seems to come from a source of trust.
