BRD Continues in 2013 its Traditional Partnership with APIA

06 Aug 2013

BRD-Groupe Société Générale signed the tripartite convention with APIA (Agency for Payments and Intervention in Agriculture) and FGCR (Rural Credit Guarantee Fund), to provide loans to beneficiaries in the single area payment scheme (SAPS), under the conditions of the Order of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development no. 703/23.07.2013.

Farmers can obtain in advance up to 90% of the accounts receivable, certified by APIA Certificate. Besides increased advances, another advantage for our customers is represented by the simplified documentation, the loan being made available after the presentation of the APIA certificate and the required guarantees.

BRD reconfirms its status as a partner of the agricultural sector, the constant preoccupation of our bank for this segment being represented by a diversified portfolio of products for the sector to meet the increasingly diversified needs of farmers in Romania, both in terms short-term financing needs (pre-financed loans of APIA subsidies, agricultural campaign loans, etc.) and investment projects (including the ones containing an EU funding component).

BRD-Groupe Société Générale is the second bank in Romania by total assets. BRD is part of the Société Générale Group, one of the largest European financial services groups. The group has 154,000 employees and 32 million customers worldwide in three key activities:
- Retail banking in France
- International Retail Banking
- Corporate & Investment Banking
