BRD Launches SimTopUP – the Service for Recharging Mobile Prepay Cards

BRD is diversifying its offer through a new service that allows recharging prepaid cards at any ATM of BRD, at no cost for customers. Mobile prepay card holders have access to the service on a non-stop basis, allowing them to benefit from a flexible and rapid recharging.

The service is available 24 hours a day and is addressed to holders of prepaid cards from the following providers: Orange, Vodafone and Cosmote. The recharging service is available on all BRD ATMs, the payment can be made with BRD cards.

BRD is therefore offering its customers a complete service for covering the entire range of Prepay products from mobile operators. Customers can opt for alternatives such as recharging minutes, recharging value or Prepay Internet options. Users can choose between recharging by PIN, which involves issuing a receipt with a unique recharge code, or direct recharge by entering the phone number that the customer wants to recharge.

"With this new service, we want to offer our clients a fast, cheap way to recharge mobile cards through the extensive network of banking terminals. With each new service, we aim to meet the needs of our customers and offer them an enjoyable experience", said Elena Oprea, Delegate Executive Director, Marketing and Product Management.

BRD currently operates a network of over 1,500 ATMs and 800 payment terminals, the latter being useful for operations such as paying utility bills by cash or card, or the charging of current accounts.
