Promotional campaign for BRD mortgage loans, with guaranteed gifts of RON 800 or RON 400

Until October 19, BRD has a promotional campaign for mortgage loans in RON and EUR. Customers willing to get a mortgage loan during the campaign will receive a Gift Card worth RON 800, if the domicile their revenue in a BRD account, or RON 400, if they don’t choose this possibility.
 
The bank offers two types of interest rates:

 „Offering Gift Cards we want to cover partially the various categories of expenses connected to the purchase of a home”, said Adrian Jantea, Commercial Director responsible for retail customers with BRD.
 
According to BRD statistics, the major part of acquisitions made between 2007 and 2014 with the help of mortgage loans were in blocks of flats (70%), but only 20% are in newly built blocks. 15 % of the properties bought are houses, 30% of them being newly built.
 
The geographical distribution of loans highlights the western area of the country (Transilvania, Banat, Crişana, Maramureş), with 41% of the total loans, followed by Bucharest, with 19% of loans, Muntenia (without Bucharest), with 24% and Moldova, with 16%. The average value of loans is of EUR 51,000.
 
The crediting period chosen by the major part of the customers exceeds 20 years, 40% of the financings being granted for 30 years.
 
The major part of the customers (approx. 31%) are 25 to 30 years old, almost 65% are married and 70% do not have children. 43% of the customers who obtained a mortgage loan came with a downpayment of 15 to 25% of the total amount of the loan, and more than 30% of the applicants have monthly revenues exceeding RON 5,000, net.
