BRD’s banking cards sistem, temporarily shut down for update

During the night of Sunday, May 12, 2019 to Monday, May 13, 2019, BRD’s banking cards system will be shut down for update.

Between 0h00 and 06h00, BRD card holders will not be able to perform operations with their cards, in Romania or abroad. Also, BRD’s ATM and POS networks will not be available.

Our recommendation for customers who will have to make payments during the respective timeframe is to ensure they have a cash reserve.

We apologize for any inconvenients that may occur and thank you for your understanding.

The main commercial trends and financial indicators of BRD Groupe Société Générale at March 31, 2019 at consolidated level, according to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS):
• Robust business dynamics: continued lending growth on retail (+3.6%*) and corporate (+5.2%*) segments, total leasing production up by +12%, higher volume of transactions, and increasing remote banking subscribers (+18% YoY)
• Sustained increase in net banking income, up by +8.3% YoY

Decisions of the General Shareholders Assembly of BRD - Groupe Société Générale

BRD’s General Shareholders Assembly gathered on April 18, 2019, at BRD Tower, 1-7 Bd. Ion Mihalache, 1st district, Bucharest (1st floor, Auditorium Room), for two sessions: the ordinary and the extraordinary one. According to the convening notice, were entitled to participate and to vote the persons having the quality of shareholder on the reference date of April 08, 2019. At the assembly were present shareholders representing 80.56 % of the share capital.

MYBRD NET allows the online signing of the contract for transactioning mutual fund units

The new functionality allows, for the first time in Romania, to sign online, directly into the application, and without having to come in a bank branch, the contract for receiving and performing orders between the customer and the bank.

This evolution complements the framework offered to customers who want to become investors. Thus, starting this month, BRD customers can have a complete online flow (profiling questionnaires, signing the contract, submitting subscription / redemption orders) via MyBRD Net internet banking application.

BRD launches a new feauture of the mobile app: Instant Top-Up

The new functionality allows real-time transfer towards a BRD account of money from accounts opened with other banks. The transfer is done in the same way as an e-commerce payment, through a debit card, in RON, issued by a bank in Romania.

The maximum amount that can be transferred monthly in the BRD account from accounts opened with other banks is 30,000 RON, in up to 5 transactions. The customer can also choose to make the transfer with a certain recurrence.
