According to article 113 letter A of CNVM Regulation no.1/ 2006 on issuers and operations with securities, BRD - Groupe Société Générale S.A. informs the investors that Mr. Didier Luc Marie Dominique COLIN was appointed Member of the Supervisory Board and Senior Executive Director in charge of Risk Management at Komerční Banka.

As a result of this appointment, Mr. Colin renounced to his position as Deputy CEO of BRD - Groupe Société Générale.

Global Finance : For the 4th Consecutive Year, BRD Is Safest Bank In Romania

American magazine Global Finance announced the top of the safest banks in the world. According to it, BRD Groupe Société Générale is the safest bank in Romania and 7th safest bank in Central and Eastern Europe.

This is the 4th “Safest Bank” award in a row that BRD receives from Global Finance, after the prizes claimed in 2014, 2015 and 2016 respectively.

Banks were selected through an evaluation of long-term foreign currency ratings - from Moody’s, Standard & Poor’s and Fitch - and total assets of the 1 000 largest banks worldwide.
